On this night, we stayed on our terrace for dinner. Why would we not with a view like this?
In anticipation for our sunset picnic, we grabbed paninis and prosecco from a small [Italian] bodega we found on the other side of Positano. We happened upon it on our afternoon walk the day before, and it happened to be owned by the girlfriend of the son of Costantino, the owner of our hotel. Small Italian world, huh?
This dinner turned out to be our favorite of the trip. What can I say, we’re merely simple folks from Texas who really enjoy the simple moments in life.
Here are a few of my favorite shots from the evening:
Okay, I didn’t mention it above, but we didn’t just have paninis and prosecco. We had dessert, too. We had lots of dessert. These were amazing. That chocolate, my gosh, indescribable. I left Italy with a serious sweet tooth and have had ice cream every night since our return. I’ve also had a glass of wine every night, but that’s another story.
