What a shot, right? I can’t stop staring at it. Derek caught it as we were wandering the pathways of Positano one evening last week. We had spent the day taking a boat trip along the coast and splashing around in the Mediterranean Sea. After the boat dropped us off, we hoped to go to a restaurant that Costantino, the owner of our hotel, recommended. We took the Positanesi d’America to find Lo Guarracino; the quaint stark white-faced restaurant looked just perfect for an afternoon bite to eat. Alas, it was closed for the afternoon! The owner, in fact, was stilling at a table sipping a glass of wine. So we went for a walk in anticipation of the evening opening.
It was a magical walk up and down stairways and through small alleys. On this afternoon we really got to see the hidden nooks of the city, watch its people come and go, and feel the energy that feeds the beauty of Positano.
Here are a few more pictures from that day.
