I thought I would throw a new little diddy into the mix this morning with an oh-so-hip gif. A couple weeks ago, the LIVESTRONG Austin Marathon ran down our street, and while I usually find myself waking up thinking, “I’m just getting up and people have already run a marathon,” on this beautiful Sunday morning, I decided I should mosey out to see what all the running was about.

The mile-24 water stop was just outside our apartment, so these folks that you see trotting by have only two tiny miles left until they reach the finish line. It was great inspiration to hear things like, “Look the Tower! We’re almost there,” or, “Hey we’re at the campus, we can do this.” I also heard a guy use the f-word and say “Shut up” to a person cheering him on.

I feel like that lingo would be more my speed after 24 miles.
